The leader of the Unified Anbar Alliance, Dhari al-Dulaimi, confirmed, on Thursday, that the fingers of accusation regarding the escape of Saad Kambesh are still hovering around the head of the Rabman, Muhammad al-Halbousi, and the involvement of members of his party, in order to conceal corruption crimes in the Sunni Endowment.
Al-Dulaimi said in a statement to Al-Maalouma, that “the escape of the head of the Sunni Endowment from Karrada Maryam prison inside the Green Zone, no one can believe that the operation was carried out by ordinary people.
He added, “Fingers of accusation regarding the escape of the former head of the Sunni Endowment, Saad Kambesh, are still hovering around Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi and the involvement of members of his party in order to conceal corruption crimes in the Sunni Endowment,” calling on “investigative committees to reveal which party was behind the escape.”
The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Major General Yahya Rasool, had revealed the involvement of MP Asma Hamid Kambesh, a leader in a party that advanced the evasion process.
