{Baghdad _ Ain} An early political disclosure revealed that he began collecting signatures in parliament to nominate an alternate prime minister for the excused commissioner, Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi.
An Arab newspaper quoted the official as saying that “there are consultations to agree on a new personality to be appointed as prime minister, to succeed Allawi. He explained that these endeavors are represented in a petition being signed in Parliament and calling for an independent figure to be appointed to form the government.”
The politician said, “The recent political movement, represented in the meetings held by the President of the Republic Barham Salih with many Shiite leaders, has not yet resulted in a specific position regarding the crisis of forming the next Iraqi government, indicating that it is not proposed now that a certain party adopts a specific candidate, and that the options include Consensus of the character to be assigned from within Parliament. ”
These steps come after Allawi’s failure to form a new government and the announcement by the caretaker head Adel Abdul-Mahdi to withdraw from his role.
