The former deputy of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Walid Al-Sahlani, expected, on Monday, the formation of the new government after the resignation of the Sadrist bloc’s deputies and the completion of the procedures of the new members of the House of Representatives, while stressing that Al-Sadr gave way to the coordination framework to form a government that advances the reality of the country.

Al-Sahlani said in an interview with “The Information”, “The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, and through the resignation of the Sadrist bloc’s deputies, opened the way for the political forces present in the Iraqi arena, whether they were at the level of the coordination framework and the forces allied with him and the rest of the blocs in order to form a government that advances the reality of the country on different levels and fields.

He added, “It is not in the interest of any party to disrupt the political process, even if there are certain disabilities, and the process itself is not up to the level of ambition,” expecting “the formation of the government in the event that the House of Representatives is completed, legal problems are resolved, and the constitutional oath is taken by the new representatives.”

The representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance explained that “the next stage is difficult and requires those who bear responsibility at the executive and legislative levels to be worthy of this responsibility and able to provide a tangible service to the people.”

Today, Monday, the spokesman for the popular movement in Anbar, Dari Al-Dulaimi, said that the political breakthrough was close, especially after the resignation of the Sadrist bloc’s representatives from Parliament. Done/25 SR
