The deputy of the State of Law coalition Hussein al-Maliki reiterated on Tuesday his coalition’s position not to nominate any personality for any ministerial position in the next cabinet.
Al-Maliki said in a statement received [where], that “we renew our assurance that the State of Law coalition has not nominated any personality for any ministerial position in the cabinet charged with forming the government, Mustafa Al-Kazemi.”
He added that “the names announced for ministerial positions are of the choice of the Prime Minister-designate, and the coalition and its president do not have a choice.”
The Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi confirmed yesterday, Monday, that he is seeking to form a government at the level of crises and their solutions.
“The responsibility that I faced in this difficult circumstance and amidst economic, health and security challenges is a national responsibility,” Al-Kazimi said in a tweet on Twitter.
He added, “The government that I am seeking to form must be at the level of crises and their solutions, and everyone should put the interest of Iraq in priority.”
And the Prime Minister-designate, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, continues his consultations and discussions with Shiite and Sunni forces in order to expedite the presentation of the government program and the cabinet, to be presented to members of the House of Representatives.
