Representative of the State of Law, Muhammad Al-Ziyadi, revealed, on Monday, the intention of the House of Representatives to approach the federal government regarding the financial aspect in the proposed law on emergency support for food security, stressing that the state of law and the coordination framework are not against the proposed law.
Al-Ziyadi said in a statement to / the information / that “the House of Representatives intends to approach the federal government regarding the financial aspect in the proposed law on emergency support for food security.”
He added that “the rule of law and the coordination framework with providing the financial liquidity necessary to support the items of the ration card, social welfare, farmers’ dues and electric power projects, and we are not with any projects that are not clear at all.”
Al-Ziyadi pointed out that “unsecured spending or spending on materials not related to food security, not to mention the presence of some observations that cannot be overlooked.”
The political analyst, Saad Muhammad Al-Kaabi, was of the opinion that the insistence of some parties to pass the proposed food security law will lead to a new political crisis that will plunge the country into a dangerous slide, pointing out that what has been achieved from a large financial abundance from high oil prices will be wasted through this law. finished / 25 h
