Badr renews its demand to remove American forces from Iraq

Today, Monday, the Badr Parliamentary Bloc renewed its demand for the removal of all foreign forces, led by the Americans, from the country.
The deputy head of the bloc, Walid Al-Sahlani, told Al-Ma’louma Agency, “There is a national consensus to remove all foreign forces, led by the Americans, and this matter has been agreed upon.”
He added, “It is in the interest of the Iraqi people to consolidate relations with the rest of the world, away from any interference in Iraq’s internal affairs.”
Al-Sahlani stressed the need to “accelerate the removal of all foreign forces from Iraq, especially the American ones, noting that this demand is a popular demand for all Iraqis.”
