Iranian parliamentarian Kamran Ghazanfari suggested that his country may already possess a nuclear weapon, threatening to use it against America and Israel if Tehran is threatened with a nuclear attack from them. In response to a question from the Iranian news site “Didban Iran” regarding the possibility of Iran possessing a nuclear weapon, Ghazanfari explained that it is possible to speculate that they may already possess this capability, and that if the United States and Israel threaten them with the use of a nuclear weapon, they should know that they will respond in kind by using such a weapon against them.
He added that if the United States carries out any action against them from a base in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain or Kuwait, they have the ability to respond to it inside Europe and on American soil. He continued that they have long manufactured long-range missiles, or what are known as intercontinental ballistic missiles, and that their missiles are capable of reaching the farthest regions of the world. As for Europe, it is within their reach, and they even have intercontinental ballistic missiles that can reach the United States.
Ghazanfari also threatened European countries, saying that they should take into account from now on that they will not only face economic pressures resulting from the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, but will also face military strikes within their territories.
