, the spokesman for the Prime Minister, Ahmed Mulla Talal, confirmed, on Tuesday, the government’s commitment to pass the borrowing law, pointing to the government’s commitment to paying the late salaries.
Mulla Talal said, “The government is moving toward Parliament to pass the fiscal deficit law and pay the salaries of state employees.”
He added, “Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi is in contact with the political blocs in order to pass the borrowing law quickly,” indicating that “the government is committed to paying back salaries.”
He added, “Al-Kazemi instructed the Ministry of Finance to find a quick solution for the payment of retired salaries and social welfare.”
