Baghdad Today, Thursday, the representative of the Sadqoun parliamentary bloc, Hassan Salem, called on the Iraqi Judicial Council to issue arrest warrants against US President Donald Trump against the background of the assassination of the former deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.
“The Iraqi Judicial Council must take legal measures and issue arrest warrants against the terrorist criminals who committed the assassination of the leaders of the victory, especially Trump, who committed the crime of assassinating the leaders of the victory, the martyr leader Abu Mahdi, the engineer, and the martyr, commander Qassem Soleimani,” Salem said in a statement. .
The MP expressed his surprise, “The government’s silence and elimination of this crime, which is considered a serious terrorist act, a violation of Iraqi sovereignty, and a flagrant violation of human rights.”

He stressed that “this silence is unjustified and has question marks.”
He asked, “Where are the results of the complaint with the UN Security Council if they exist ?, and what are the procedures of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs towards that crime?”, Noting that “this silence represents a contempt for the blood of Iraqis and a clear violation of the constitution,” according to the statement issued by his office.
