The head of the National Sindh Bloc, MP Ahmad Al-Asadi, confirmed on Monday the follow-up to the upcoming dialogue between Iraq and the United States of America through the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee and also through the Parliament’s Foreign Relations Committee and through meetings as political forces with the Prime Minister stressing that The decision to remove foreign forces from Iraq is final and without dialogue
Al-Asadi said, “The upcoming dialogue is important to Iraq and should be based on the decision of the Iraqi parliament to remove foreign forces from Iraq. It should also be based on setting a timetable for removing foreign forces from Iraq.”
The head of the National Sindh Bloc considered that “there is no dialogue as to whether or not foreign forces keep in Iraq,” noting that “the decision to remove foreign forces from Iraq was issued and the previous government committed and became a binding decision.”
Regarding the agreements to be discussed by the Iraqi negotiator with Washington, Al-Asadi noted that “other issues related to the strategic framework agreement we will follow and the mechanism by which these agreements will be implemented,” stressing that “Iraq’s sovereignty will be first and its independence is the basis that we adopt in all dialogues.”
