Deputy for the Al-Fateh Alliance Fadel Al-Fatlawi confirmed on Tuesday that the parliament will hold a session of granting confidence to the government of Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi next Tuesday.
Al-Fatlawi said in a statement, “Al-Kazemi will submit a formal request to hold a session of granting confidence during the next two days,” pointing out that he has completed a large part of his government and his political consultations are still ongoing with the blocs to achieve the passage of his government within Parliament.

He added that “most of the political forces support the passage of Al-Kazemi and there are no major objections that may lead to his failure within Parliament,” noting that “the Presidency of the Council of Representatives will set next Tuesday as the date for the session to grant confidence to the Al-Kazemi government.”

Yesterday, Monday, the head of the Bayraq Al-Khair bloc, MP Mohammed Al-Khaldi, announced that his bloc had not voted on Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi, thus being the first bloc to formally announce its vote on the government to be formed.
