On Sunday, a parliamentary source revealed attempts to postpone the parliament session until next Wednesday.
The source said, “There is an attempt by the team supporting the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi to postpone the extraordinary session of Parliament until next Wednesday.”
He added, “The rejecting blocs stress the necessity of replacing Allawi with another from the choice of the Shiite political house.”
A parliamentary source said today, Sunday, that the parliament session was postponed for half an hour, because the quorum was not complete.
