Deputy Alia Nassif, on Tuesday, strongly criticized the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi’s giving promises and pledges to some political forces to renew the mandate of their corrupt ministers, considering it a rebellion against the will of the parliament and circumventing the people’s demands to fight corruption.

Nassif indicated that “London’s compliments and friendships should not be at the expense of the Iraqi people who are demanding their rights,” calling for “Allawi to back away from these disappointing pledges of Iraqis.”

A political source revealed, yesterday, Monday, that Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Allawi started directing consultations to form the government and the mechanism for holding early elections, while he expected there to be blackmail by voting to pass the government.
