Hasan Al-Alawi - Muhammad Allawi is not worthy of the leadership of Iraq in the current period(Baghdad _ Where) Veteran Iraqi politician, Hassan Al-Alawi, issued a statement on Sunday regarding the mandate of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi to form the new government, by President Barham Salih yesterday.

Al-Alawi said in his statement, “Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi is a closed personality, half-Islamist, and not liberal,” noting that “Allawi has enmities, and he appears silent, and not worthy of leading Iraq during the current period,” he said.

He added, “The close relationship of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi to the leader of the National Alliance, Iyad Allawi, does not lead to the success of the head of the new government.”
Al-Alwi wrote a letter to Allawi saying, “You should rely on the advice of those who have experience in the political process,” noting that “the ministry is not yours, nor is it the property of anyone.”

He called for “choosing ministers who have the honor of experience, integrity, patriotism, Iraqi and nationalism, away from patronage and patronage, and who you have economic relations with.”
