Anti-Corruption Board - 1000 employees dismissed on charges of embezzlement and waste of public fundsPrime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi’s office announced that the Anti-Corruption Board has reviewed the report of the Integrity Commission / Investigation Department regarding employees who have been sentenced to court related to the waste of public money or deliberate damage to public money or embezzlement.

The office said that during its session, which was chaired by Adel Abdul Mahdi, the council directed the dismissal of 1000 employees of different grades from their positions and not to hand over any senior or middle leadership positions because of the damages to the state and its institutions.
