Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, Oil Minister, Thamer Ghadhban, announced that the ministry intends to build a new line to transport crude oil extracted from the fields of Kirkuk province to the Turkish border.
This came during a press conference held by Ghadban with his Turkish counterpart Fatih Donmaz at the ministry headquarters.
The Turkish minister arrived in Baghdad this morning and met with Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi and will also meet later with the Minister of Electricity Louay Khatib.
