Threatened the head of the National Coalition Iyad Allawi, today, to withdraw from the political process and fight after the elections if the current situation continues, and indicated that he is threatened with death, without disclosing who threatened him.
“The reason for my involvement in the political process is to break these sectarian secretions. After the elections, if the situation continues, I will withdraw from the process and I will fight it peacefully. I do not have weapons of mass destruction,” Allawi said in an interview with the Jordanian daily al-Ghad.
Allawi said, “I do not think that the current elections will change anything,” adding that “he is threatened with death, and with all force I tell you this, and who informed me officials in the current government.”
