Barzani confirms pumping oil through the Kirkuk pipeline region to Turkey for the federal government

President of the Kurdistan region, Massoud Barzani, confirmed Friday that he will be pumping 150 thousand barrels per day from the province of Kirkuk oil fields across the province for the pipeline to Turkey.
The Iraqi Oil Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, said yesterday that “the oil extracted from the Kirkuk fields is shipped across the infrastructure built by the Kurdistan region with Turkey after the implementation of an agreement reached with the Kurdistan” to end the long dispute over oil revenues.
And between Abdul-Mahdi said that “150 thousand barrels per day, including some oil fields of Kirkuk,” adding that “the Iraqi government allowed the entry of shipments across the Kurdish line as a goodwill gesture.”
