11-19-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 we are already seeing a number of articles about the agreements made with the Kurds last week on oil and gas issues….PAYMENTS are going forward as we are seeing today…The government is continuing to move in the right direction…this has to be garnering them a considerable amount of trust and faith with the people, not just the Kurds but with all Iraqis. The retired people are being paid as well, I think for September and October…again favorable news. Even with the tragic bombing in Erbil today, the government and Abadi are standing as one and saying…the ones responsible will be held accountable. This was a swift message following the bombing… For almost the whole part of the last week the news from Iraq has been EXCITING…I don’t think I’ve ever posted that before…it is creating excitement by itself.

11-19-2014 Newshound Guru tlm724 it is all coming together for us but like I have said it’s not just pushing a button…it’s a process of actions and reactions. As we watch them take these actions, all of them, like taxes, reform and legislation, these actions create reactions and that is what drives up the value of the dinar! supply and demand, confidence in the country, confidence in the NEW GOI. We see accolades from governments and powerful entities through out the world expressing their pleasure with Iraq and that breeds confidence and that is what drives up the value of the dinar! I am loving where we are headed…no actual date or rate but I do like the 1st quarter of the year.

11-18-2014 Intel Guru Frank26 The majority of CH7 has been removed but they are not totally free of it, there are some clauses that still apply through the UNSC…Iraq has taken action with the freedoms they have, working to qualify for Art 8; IMO, the last part, part 4, of the HCL is being done… for the first time, the UN said that they see Iraq’s government concrete and with reforms, IMO, this means there is a rate, that CH7 can be released and Iraq can qualify for Art8…Baghdad and Kurdistan are happy and in agreement, the GOI and the CBI are happy and in agreement… the GOI the CBI and the ISX have found a new fire — let’s see what they say.

11-18-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni some things are starting to line up…might not be a time frame we want to hear, but early 2015 looks like a goal for Iraq. lets start with the IMF and CBI: the CBI has kept the dinar fairly stable for a while now. the market rate was 1209 or less for a month and 1202 or less for the last 2 weeks. the IMF says, a country must maintain stability within 2% fo 90 days which puts us at late January. we have the articles from October that say early or directly into 2015 raise the value and today some television news that a member of the finance committee went on television and said something to the extent that directly in the new year the dinar will begin to rise…so we can see that their appears to be a goal or some direction to that time frame.

11-18-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni that being said, i think many factors come into play. we all know that many things are going on at the same time. so with the new Abadi gov working on a new relationship with the Kurds and parliament preparing laws to be passed things are looking much better than ever before and IMO, the recent downward pressure on oil has now forced Iraq to get in compliance and start doing what they say.

[Hasn’t CBI been setting rate on Dinar for years now?] they are in Article XIV, which for all practical purposes is developmental…the CBI has to learn how to use its monetary tools and they needed to be in compliance with the IMF.

11-18-2014 Newshound Guru Breitling …What they are stuck with right now is focusing on stabilizing oil production and raising the value of their currency…infrastructure will come later. So what does that mean for you and me? The value of the currency will go up. They are still talking about how they are reducing the note count. One of these days they will get it down to 1 billion notes and the value will be $3…but they don’t need to come out at the $3 rate. They can get to a buck and from that point see what the situation is. Can they grow their economy and add value to the currency? Absolutely they can. Can they get it to a $3 rate with just oil production? yes, they did it already before Saddam started messing around…so those are yes answers and what they are looking at right now.

They can be proud…I also want to point out that it is obvious that Kurdistan has control of Kirkuk and this was part of the disputed areas in article 140, it’s a very good sign of what is to come!
