10-1-2014 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [ I have 2 questions. 1)if HCL is approved,do you think there are any other obstacles that can interfere for RV? 2)how about the progress of HCL,is it bad or good?] I really don’t see anything else – in order for the HCL to go through, the other obstacles need to be handled, and that’s what they are doing right now… so I’d say it’s going good!

Broke is broke and they need to pay many many bills. When banks over there in the green zone have to close regularly because they cant get cash from the CBI…thats not good. They have been limping along for 8 months, getting just enough denoms to survive 3 days at a time.– and thats not an example of cashflow poor(aka broke) I dont know what is.
10-1-2014 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [ I am led to believe that there will be a pool of $$$$ for the higher rates but when that pool is used up you will have to accept a lower rate. It is on a first come first served basis so you want to get to the bank ASAP. Any input on that?] I’m going to say that’s absolutely false – the rate is the rate, and in fact it may end up going UP as demand for it increases. Some people are under the impression that once the value raises, everyone and their mother is going to race to dump it. I strongly disagree with that idea – some people will race to the bank, but plenty of smart investors will actually be in BUY mode, which will have an effect on the value. Here’s what I know for sure – There is no “pool” reserved for the first X dinars…

10-1-2014 Newshound Guru Adam Montana Current situation: Budget: We are extremely close to seeing the budget passed, and in such a way that the Kurds will be happy with it. In fact, Salim Al-Jiburi (the Iraqi speaker) did meet with Yusuf Mohammed (speaker of the Kurdistan region’s parliament) just earlier today, and preliminary reports are showing that they are in agreement on how to move forward. In regards to the budget, it’s interesting to know that more than 20% of the Kurdish regions people are on Government payroll, and that actually accounts for over 70% of the public spending (the money that Baghdad sends to them)… so not only do they want to resolve this quickly, but these are the same government officials who will be pushing hard for an increase in the value because it literally goes right in their own pockets when it happens!
10-1-2014 Newshound Guru Adam Montana ISIL/ISIS: There is no way the IS problem will ever be truly and completely eradicated, so the best we can realistically hope for is successful containment. With that said, there are continuing reports of IS militants being driven back, out of Iraq. …the bottom line is that IS is less and less a major concern in Iraq as they are being dealt with, the budget resolution is in motion, and HCL won’t be far behind that.
