The World Gold Council’s statistics are based on data from the International Monetary Fund and central banks, but their update dates vary from country to country. Iraq’s data dates back to August 2026, Saudi Arabia’s to April of the same year, while Lebanon’s data dates back to March 2025.

Iraq’s reserve figure listed in the table has not changed from the level announced by the Council in a previous report last September.
