Today, Tuesday, the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Hoshyar Zebari, accused the President of the Republic and Iraqi leaders of playing an active role in disrupting politics, while noting that “they use the judiciary as a weapon against competitors.”
Zebari wrote in a post on “Twitter” followed by Earth News, “The Iraqi leaders complain about the political blockage and the transgression of constitutional contexts, but they all forget or forget that they are the reason for what is happening now! And the last of them is the outgoing President of the Republic, and others.”
He added, “They had a prominent role in disrupting the process in negatively affecting the judiciary and using it as a weapon against competitors.”
Iraq has been experiencing a severe political crisis, since the election results were announced, due to the conflict between the two poles of the equation, the “coordinating framework” and the “triple alliance” over the largest bloc and the form of the next government.
The coordinating framework forces are seeking to form a “consensual government” in which all political parties participate, similar to previous governments after 2003, while Muqtada al-Sadr, in turn, insists on forming a “majority government.”
