The Border Ports Authority announced, on Wednesday, that it has achieved tax and customs revenues that exceeded (4) billion Iraqi dinars at Umm Qasr ports in one day.
The authority stated in a statement. That “revenues have been achieved to the state treasury amounting to (4,321,456,970) billion Iraqi dinars, which were generated from the trade exchange movement obtained from the customs and tax center in the ports of Umm Qasr for one day, September 22, 2020.
And she stressed, “her constant and relentless endeavor and moving forward to maximize state revenues to overcome the financial crisis that our beloved country is going through, by working in the spirit of one team and joining efforts of all departments working at border outlets to achieve high revenues consistent with government support and the directives and procedures of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.” Enhancing the security reality, imposing state prestige, and providing a safe environment for workers at border crossings.
