Shafaq News/ The Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the assigned staff and operations at the Swedish Embassy in Baghdad were temporarily transferred to Stockholm for security reasons.
This came, according to what was reported by the Swedish News Agency (TT) today, Friday, on the authority of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of her country.
A spokesman for the Swedish Foreign Ministry said staff and operations would be temporarily moved to Stockholm for security reasons, but declined to comment further.
Supporters of the Sadrist movement attacked at dawn on Thursday the Swedish embassy in the capital, Baghdad, and set it on fire to condemn allowing a demonstration in Stockholm that witnessed the desecration of the Koran and the Iraqi flag in front of the Iraqi embassy there.

In a statement, the Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, directed a ban on dealing by the ministry and its formations with all Swedish companies.
