The CBI shall also promote sustainable growth, employment and prosperity in Iraq” THAT IS FROM CBI. DIDNT IT SAY THEY HAD TO APPLY EXCHANGE RATES ETC BEFORE? THEY CHANGED WHAT IT SAID… I REALLY DONT KNOW THE EXACT DATE IT CHANGED BUT FOR MANY MANY YEARS IT DID NOT SAY THAT. IT APPEARS TO ME THEY HAVE THEIR ACTUAL INDEPENDENT RULES NOW. [so now it is assumed the rate will be applied…and now it says keep it stable etc?] SMILE — IT READS WHAT THE CONSTITUTION STATES FOR THE CITIZENS IN SO MANY WORDS. Earlier in the week we had an article in which it was said that the Dawa Party (Maliki’s State of Law) was urging Abadi to step down because he was so ineffective. 10-30-2015 Newshound Guru wmawhite …what is the CBI telling the world when it is in the process of using its gold reserves to purchase its currency from the citizens of Iraq? …the CBI owns the IQD…why would they want to buy it back? …unless they have plans to do what? A person buys an under valued stock NOT if he/she believes it will go down in value…instead, you buy it believing it will go up in value. The difference here is that the CBI is the issuer of the stock…the IQD…they CONTROL its value and here they are wanting it back. IMO, we are watching the end of the process to reduce the note count…using gold is the one tactic that will get the rest of it in. Read more…

10-29-2015 Intel Guru Frank26 For the past one to one and half months the Investment Law, the HCL, in fact all the laws have been long passed…but what they have done is “amend” the laws, not make new laws…they have been doing this with ALL laws…they had these laws ready weeks ago…they were designed and amended to meet IMF standards…these laws have ALL been done to INTERNATIONAL standards…and are ready to go FULL throttle. They unanimously approved all the laws yesterday we believe…but they are not ready to be released yet. In thinking back to last year…I believe I told some of you…expect the LD’s in November…they will drive the rate of the currency up… …the Top Teams called in today and they had one thing to say, “WE ARE VERY CLOSE”. They finally amended and passed the Investment Law! Several things jump out at me in this law. First is that it encompasses both foreign and domestic investors as it should. 10-21-2015 Intel Guru Frank26 IMO – as we near closer to the new rate…Iraq is selling gold but not to the world …it is targeting someone very, very important. The CITIZENS! Gold is being sold by Dr. Shabibi to the citizens of Iraq which will bring in the last 3-zero and will introduce the lower denoms. This is also help Iraq with their reserves. The selling of GOLD will also pull USD’s off of the street! Dr. Shabibi knows exactly how many 3-zeros are out there (IMO). I have something else to tell you…Dr. Shabibi is the director of the CBI and he wanted to raise the value of the dinar back in July but he and Abadi agreed that the timing wasn’t right. 10-19-2015 Newshound Guru mike If I had a dollar for every article that talked about monetary and economic reform that was “just around the corner”, I wouldn’t need the dinar to increase in value, I’d be rich already. I can remember all the way back to 2012, when Shabibi attended the conference in London, that the articles and others thought Iraq was ready to initiate a change in the rate, why else would Shabibi go to London? Well, here we are, three years later and all Iraq’s done is back up, there’s been very little forward movement. What Iraq is lacking, in my opinion, is the political will to enact the great ideas that the world and many noted economists have suggested. I’m not down on the dinar, nor am I negative, I’m pragmatic about the progress of Iraq. Read more…

10-18-2015 Newshound Guru Enorrste Article: “Monetary policies in Iraq and proposals for the next phase applications” We are all, or at least most of us, frustrated that the CBI has seemed to be unable to move “around the corner” leading to a rise in the value of the dinar…this article for once outlines in detail…the fact that the CBI definitely has a plan and that the plan includes, first, stabilizing the dinar rate, then second, raising the rate, and, third, eventually removing the large notes from circulation ( a clear goal of at least $1 for the dinar). That is the only way the dinar goes up in value. This is huge news… Iraq has finally stepped up to the plate. The title “Iraq on a plate for the investor” is a true statement if they pass this law. With the law back to parliament, it hopefully will get passed Monday as they say.
