Member of the House of Representatives, Intisar Al-Jazaery, today, Thursday, revealed parliamentary moves to file an appeal with the Federal Court in some paragraphs related to the Kurdistan region of the budget law, while confirming that all political forces support the appeal moves in some of the paragraphs that are in the interest of the provinces central and southern.
Al-Jazaery said in an interview with the information agency, that “the Integrity Committee is now in the process of submitting an appeal to the Federal Court in some paragraphs that concern the Kurdistan region,” noting that “the current budget has put an end to the many violations that were passed to please the governments of the region in the previous period.”
And she added, “Parliament is with the southern provinces in fairness in terms of raising the percentages that have been allocated in the general budget,” pointing out that “some of the benefits that Kurdistan obtained were at the expense of the central and southern provinces.”
And she added, “All parliamentary political forces support movements to challenge some of the paragraphs that are in the interest of the southern governorates.”
A member of the House of Representatives, Asaad Al-Bazuni, had confirmed in an interview with Al-Maalouma agency, that “the declared percentage for the region is now 12.6%, but the reality indicates that the percentage has reached 18% with the calculation of some other issues, while he confirmed that the region wants to control the file of exporting the 400,000 barrels, according to their vision and calculations, without interference from other parties.
