Member of the House of Representatives, Rafiq Al-Salhi, confirmed today, Sunday, that the decision to terminate the membership of former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, will end dictatorship and tyranny by Parliament’s decisions, adding that most of the parliamentary political blocs were objecting to the hegemony exercised by the latter.
Al-Salhi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, “The decision to terminate membership is one of the results of the hegemony and tyranny that was practiced in the House of Representatives,” noting that “the emerging blocs and political parties in Anbar were not spared from this issue either.”
He continued, “There is absolute parliamentary praise for the decisions of the Federal Court, especially the latter, because of its positive impact at all levels,” adding that “most of the parliamentary political blocs were objecting to the hegemony that the latter is relying on.”
Al-Salhi concluded his speech, saying: “The decision received great support from all political and popular circles, and this confirms the support of the Federal Court in making such courageous and strong decisions that are in the interest of the country,” pointing out that “the decision to terminate the membership of former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, will end dictatorship and tyranny with the decisions of the House of Representatives.” Representatives.
