Wednesday, the Presidency of Parliament called on the political blocs to pass the borrowing law to end the salary crisis and leave the auctions.
According to his media office, Al-Kaabi urged parliamentary blocs to “vote on the fiscal deficit law in order to end the problem of salaries of employees and retirees and social care networks.”
And he stressed “the need for the parliamentary blocs to stay away from the political auctions that affect the citizen’s sustenance under whatever name it is.”
Al-Kaabi said: “There is no alternative to the 2021 budget, and the parliamentary blocs can put in place what they see appropriate as projects to advance the service, health and other vital sectors.”
