Shafaq News/ The President of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani said, on Thursday, that the situation in Iraq is becoming more stable, with the new Iraqi government headed by Muhammad Shia’a al-Sudani.
Barzani said in a special session of the Iraq Forum: For the sake of stability and prosperity, “The period of 8 months is short by evaluating the government of Mr. Al-Sudani, and when they ask me about the performance of Al-Sudani, I say that he is a man who speaks in numbers and works to attract investment and move towards reconstruction, and this is not a compliment to Al-Sudani, but we see that he is It will transform Iraq into a new phase.”
He added, “For the first time, we have in the State Administration Coalition a joint paper, signed by everyone, and it includes a road map for its implementation, and any project that should be implemented not only for the region, but for all of Iraq, and the Sudanese is trying to implement this program, and this makes us all happy.”
He continued, “The recent agreement with the French company Total is developing Iraq a lot, and this is a new language that we hear for the first time from the head of a federal government, and I mean from Zakho to Al-Faw. The government wants to develop the country, and how do we provide services to all of Iraq? This is what we hear and this language is absent after 2003, but it is now.” It exists, and we in the region and all political parties support the program of the Sudanese government, and we hope to implement the road map as it is.”
