The spokesman for the popular crowd (north axis) Ali al-Husseini, on Tuesday, the escape of the former governor of Kirkuk, Najmuddin Karim to America from Erbil airport.
Al-Husseini said in a statement to Sky Press that “the information we have confirms the escape of Necmettin Karim to America with his American passport from the province of Erbil.”
He added that “Kurdish parties all know well that the governor of Kirkuk fugitive was receiving $ 10 million a month by Massoud Barzani of oil exports in Kirkuk, but does not talk about it.”
Al-Husseini called on officials in the Kurdistan Region to “bring a lawsuit against Karim and Barzani to hold them accountable and bring them before the courts to take their fair punishment in the light of thefts.”
The former governor of Kirkuk, Najm al-Din Karim, fled the province after he incited the people against the federal forces that entered the city of Kirkuk, while sources confirmed in time to Erbil.
