Today, Monday, the leader of the Anbar Governorate Mobilization, Qatari Al-Obaidi, revealed that Iraqi drones carrying missiles have entered service to track down elements of the terrorist organization ISIS in the desert of the governorate.
Al-Obaidi told Al-Maalouma Agency that “the army aviation used for the first time a newly manufactured drone equipped with two missiles to track down the remnants of the organization, noting that the planes are capable of detecting ISIS in the Anbar desert with its complex terrain.”
He added, “The aircraft have the ability to have night vision and fly for more than 24 continuous hours.”
He stressed that “using drones to track down elements of the criminal organization will contribute to eliminating the remnants of the organization.”
