Shafaq News/ Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani and the Governor of Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, today, Saturday, officially opened an integrated poultry project in the governorate.
The local government stated in a statement today that the Sahari and Wadi Karbala project is one of the successful investment projects in the private sector in the governorate, which was implemented after the great renaissance that the governorate witnessed in various fields, including stimulating investment and attracting capital.
The statement added that this project is considered one of the important strategic projects in the country in the production of table eggs with a production capacity of approximately 3 million eggs, in addition to the production of poultry meat at a rate of 306 thousand tons annually, and a poultry slaughterhouse with a production capacity of 34 thousand chickens per hour.
In turn, the Prime Minister praised the project and the national industry it produces and its use of advanced equipment and technologies in production, as well as the volume of its production, which covers a good percentage of the country’s total consumption, as well as the thousands of job opportunities it provides for young people.
The Sudanese media office had announced earlier this morning that the latter had officially opened an integrated poultry project in Karbala Governorate, one of the strategic projects for the private sector.
