A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Al-Fatlawi, considered, on Monday, the promises made by the caretaker prime minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, to the Iraqi people, as evidence of the failure of his wrong policies, while stressing that the political parties trying to support Al-Kazemi also failed.
Al-Fatlawi said in an interview with the “Information” agency, “Al-Kazemi, who has outgoing since taking over the reins of affairs, until now, and during two consecutive years, has not implemented any of the promises he made to the Iraqi people, which amounted to more than 40 promises, even for a small part of them.”
He added, “The Prime Minister presented 15 items in the economic file, including the paragraphs in the white paper, and therefore only 7% of them were not implemented, which is the file of border ports only. He closed the central and southern outlets and left the western and northern outlets open.”
He pointed out, “Even this small percentage is not considered the real part that the Iraqi citizen believes that he implemented during his tenure as prime minister, and this indicates his failed policy and weakness in the leadership of Iraq and his inability to come up with something new that serves the Iraqi citizen,” noting that “most of Issues and files, whether economic, political, or even security, are critical and overdue.”
A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance explained that “the political blocs that are trying to support Al-Kazemi for a second politically failed term, given that Al-Kazemi’s failure is known to everyone and is clear through his wrong policies and unrealistic papers.”
