Ministry spokesman Ahmed Moussa told Shafaq News Agency, “Next summer will witness stability and will be positive for citizens if fuel is available and the releases of supplied or national gas are regular and we obtain the required quantities.”
He added, “The stability of the electrical system at the present time comes with the completion of maintenance of generating units, as well as the introduction of new units into the system,” stressing at the same time that “Iranian gas has improved after it was stopped in the Middle Euphrates region and Baghdad, and 10 billion meters have been pumped.” A cube of gas.
He also pointed out that “the temperatures are moderate, which contributes to the stability of the system in terms of the hour of electricity supply and even its loads.”
Regarding the electrical connection, Musa stated that “the electrical connection with Jordan will be operational in the coming days and has been 100% ready,” explaining that “the first phase will be in the Rutba district, west of Anbar.”
As for the link with the Gulf countries, Moussa said, “It will be completed within 8 to 10 months,” stressing, “We will be careful to push the time limit to complete it by the end of the year.”
