9-3-2016 Intel/Newshound Guru Mnt Goat Article: “Erbil and Baghdad reach agreement on Kirkuk oil exports” More news about HCL. Seems agreements have been made but…It is not all done or enforceable (problem all along with past agreements) until they pass the HCL law and make it all legal and binding. They are hoping to finally nail this down and complete HCL this time around. They also needed to get the 2017 budget done since it contains the expected barrel output of oil to fulfill the budget that must also be agreed upon by Kurdistan. Getting an agreement with the Kurds is extremely important. The meetings between Barzani and Abadi are going very well, with the two most crucial issues being settled. In a press statement, Barzani announced yesterday that an agreement over post-liberation Mosul’s government has been reached between Baghdad and Erbil. Today, it was announced that an agreement over Kirkuk’s oil was reached between Baghdad and the Kurds. Article 140 has been in contention because the Kurds wanted the Kirkuk oil fields. 8-31-2016 Intel Guru Frank26 …the Monetary Reform of the Iraqi dinar is picking up pace in all areas…September, IMO…will reveal a bunch of stuff… IMO…there is about four billion 000’s notes that are out there…we want to get down to at least one billion in our note count that is out there…now I think and I feel they are being very successful in this approach… So as Abadi deals with the GOI and the budget and all of these things for the Monetary Reform…the killing of ISIS and the preparation of Mosul is coming along very well. …once they are done with this stuff they are doing right…we are going to see the Monetary Reform speed up better…what is going on right now is actually…kind of like a performance for the international world… I also suggest to you IMO the HCL is done…but it is not implemented…but it is ready… Read more…

8-30-2016 Intel/Newshound Guru tman23 Direct words from the CBI to the GOI in several meetings…There will be no currency reform until all provinces are under government control…it was printed in ink in news articles… That being said, the liberation of Mosul is expected to take place end of September early October. Ernest and Young are expected to be finishing up with the 2 state banks mid October to end of October…Shabibi had said that the lifting of the zeros must begin at the start of the New Year and not in the middle of a quarter or middle of the year…it is not unreasonable to speculate that the lifting of the 3 zeros may be on the front burner for the start of 2017. 8-29-2016 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG I cannot see how anyone is actually following the financial details of this thing and not be thoroughly EXCITED about where we are (finally!)…One point that gets missed alot – they have signed deals and agreed to remove and adhere to a more “international standard” regarding their internal MCPs… (…”multi-currency practices”)… THIS IS HUGE… MCPs coming to an end…this is a big point in their whole “economic reform package” – it is a complete overhaul… MCPs and currency being only one point of the program…even until recently – they are still (or have been) operating under some odd MCPs. 8-28-2016 Newshound Guru firefly Vietnam announced on Bloomberg twice now that they are revaluing their currency! Now why would they announce that if their was no plans? I saw it with my own eyes. Kinda shocked me actually that they would make that announcement. I have no idea about the rate just the announcement…remember pre war their currency was valued at 2.22. [when did they announce this… recently?] Pretty much the same time Iraq started talking openly about it. 8-24-2016 Newshound Guru Enorrste Article: “Central bank: Print category 100 000 dinars , and we are waiting for official approval lowered into the market” The reason there is low liquidity in the markets in Iraq is because instead of using their dinars many people are holding them in their mattresses. Thus the CBI has been forced to raise the money supply, not because it wants to but because the economy would collapse otherwise. The introduction of the 50k and 100k notes is directed to solving this liquidity problem, not by just injecting new cash into the market…so that they can draw out the 25k notes from people’s mattresses. There is also a stated goal to have bills roughly equivalent to our $50 and $100 notes. If they are successful these new bills will draw out the 25k notes which will be destroyed… The result will be a reduction in the money supply back to 40 trillion dinars as the article states. This plan of introducing the larger notes has a goal of stopping the rise in the money supply…It is necessary because the people are not yet confident in using banks. Read more…

8-23-2017 Newshound Guru Breitling I want to throw this out about the note count…these guys who are anti dinar and anti Vietnamese currency…on the Vietnamese currency they CORRECTLY said there’s too much currency in circulation. That’s true…that’s the whole point. That’s why we have to watch for them to reduce the note count. Now with the Iraqi Dinar it’s completely opposite. They are INCORRECT on reading the DM1 and DM2 interim report. They need to get out [of dinar] if they think there is that much currency out there…It just happens to be equivalent to the country’s reserves?…There is simply NO reason to reduce the note count if they’re gonna pretend that they’re going to take the zeros off it. …There’s no reason to reduce the note count if they’re NOT going to add value to it. Why would you do that? So that’s the game. If you see any country at all that mention or give out any information that says they’re reducing the note count…I’ll go buy the currency. doesn’t matter who it is…if they are reducing the note count go buy the currency cause you’re going to make money. The new value will coincide with the post war value plus equity. Article: “Economists divided over deletion of zeros on Iraqi dinar” This is an amazing article… This article confirms that the RV is a two step process. The First step: Quote: “that the step to delete zeros is merely an administrative process, and the currency equation should remain the same. This means that the purchasing power of the new currency should be equal to that of the old currency. He added that the two currencies should both remain in the market for a period not exceeding three years, then the old currency should be gradually withdrawn”.
