7-3-2012 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 Shabibi is the only one in Iraq that has not lied to us. He has laid out what he is going to do and he has done it. He has said that he would not RV until he has a government in place that is going to last. He has said they will have the highest currency in the ME. Kuwait is at about $3.58 or $3.62 somewhere in that range. The rate that the CBI put out that is in their budget is $3.41, so I feel that it will be at least that. Two years ago in October, the IMF approved $3.22 and up to 20% for inflation, so that would be as high as $3.86. Read more…

6-28-2012 Newshound Guru Bondlady Salih stressed that the economic power of Iraq’s financial and of higher bank reserves and balance of payments surplus of government should be reflected on the strength of Iraqi dinar which in turn will be able to reduce inflation in the country…the only way i can see that happening is they have to set a new rate…we saw what 1170 to 1166, it did NOTHIN really so that dont work just to move it a few pips…so it would have to go a lot better than that if its to curb inflation…when it hits 1000, i think thats when he changes monetary policies, imo, an lets supply an demand drive it up from there. 6-27-2012 Newshound Guru Adam Montana So, this week in Dinar we see…No booting of Maliki, not much talk about Chapter 7, but a LOT of discussion about the “deleting the zeros” let’s get one thing straight right away. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, at some point the 0’s are going to come off. This is true whether they lop, redenominate, revalue, or anything else… what the CBI is telling us is that when they change the money, they are going to issue new notes with less 0’s. That is ALL…so you have to take these “delete the 0’s” articles with a grain of salt.

6-25-2012 Blaino Over the last 48hrs I had confirmations from the CBI that this was done on Sunday the 10th. Then the in-fighting came and delayed it. It’s happened 4 times since the 10th but they are getting closer.

6-25-2012 Hammerman China is really under the gun to get this done. All documents are signed. The RV is set for a worldwide announcement. I would think they would get this done by Thursday. It doesn’t have to be done by Thursday but my contacts told me that 23 countries will RV by Friday and the main ones are Iraq and Vietnam. 6-24-2012 Enorrste the ball is now in Maliki’s court, and he has few options left. I also read that a “resolution” is in the works, but time is running short. As I’ve stated before, the Constitution is clear that he has no right of appeal if they vote him out. I believe that we will see a resolution, one way or another, by early next week. This is consistent, Imo, with Shabibi’s overall plan to get this thing off the ground coincidental with the implementation of the Tariff Law. I personally think he may try to do this a day or even a few days prior to the 30th of June, so that the currency is Done at $1 prior to implementation. This would smooth out any potential problems with the “folks” on the ground, and pull the rug out from under economists who have bantered for incessant delays. Read more…

6-23-2012 Intel Guru BOBGETZ6 I felt the rumblings of the earth yesterday of what was to be an exciting evening and a certain rv. Much excitement abounded and for only two, out of all the times I have been told it was going to happen, I admit I was almost excited. I awoke again to dashed expectations. I hope that Oakie’s post is correct and we are rid of the foxes and this can now go forward. However, there always seems to be some lame excuse as to why it has not. As I have always said, there is that unknown piece of the puzzle that doesn’t quite fit, and I am ready to become a puzzle piece maker.

Maybe these reports are released for the sole purpose of quelling the amount hype and attention this investment has received. 6-17-2012  Newshound/Intel Guru BGG    if it’s truly a “secret ballot” it will be even worse…for Maliki.  It will be a “landslide” – he has a very short, final window of opportunity. He has no major supporters and time is almost out. However, I do get the sense that he either intends to resign or fully implement – I always had the impression he would fight…it just doesn’t look like it right now…the only thing that might save Maliki is the magnificent pressure being applied gets him to “live up to” his end of the deal. Period. 6-17-2012  Intel Guru Hammerman  Smart cards are out in Iraq…even Iraqi citizens (foreign nationals) here in the USA received them. Iraq Military and the Iraq Government are using them.  Not all – some are using them at this point. All will have them to use by next week. Smart cards are mainly for the distribution of all revenue when that comes out (Oil revenues income).  Someone said smart cards were for welefare payments (wrong!). There will be no welefare in Iraq.  Any poor people will be non-citizens in Iraq. All these people (Iraq Citizens) will be FILTHY RICH…everyone of them. Cape Canaveral (Florida) (Reuters) – Air Force officials said on Saturday that the U.S. space shuttle robot for the U.S. Army (-37 X B) returned to California at 0548 (1248 GMT) from a secret test flight lasted 15 months.

The mini-space plane, also known as orbital test vehicle 2 in the Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, at a distance of 209 kilometers to the north-west of Los Angeles. This is the second U.S. spacecraft that are self-landing on the tarmac after a trip into space.
