Kazem al-Haidari, a member of the State of Law coalition, confirmed that the tripartite alliance has no choice but to agree to end the current political crisis after its failure to form a majority government, pointing out that some parties to this alliance are benefiting from the continuation of the status quo.
Al-Haidari told Al-Maalouma, “If the tripartite alliance has a sense of responsibility and the suffering of the Iraqi people, it will move towards consensus and understanding with the other parties in order to form the new government and end the current crisis.”
He added that “the tripartite alliance, after it failed to achieve its goal of forming a majority government, has no choice but to agree to pass the government, as its continuation with this approach and maintaining the political impasse confirms this alliance’s acceptance of the current situation of the country.”
And he indicated that, “Some of the parties to this alliance have benefited from the continuation of the political crisis, by achieving the gains that they aspire to in light of the presence of the Al-Kazemi government in power.” finished 25
