The Prime Minister reiterated adviser appearance of Mohammed Saleh , Tuesday, that Iraq undertake consultations with the International Monetary Fund for emergency financial assistance worth $ 800 million, with explained that the loan will be available to Iraq at any time and without conditions, he stressed that repaid will be in three years and an interest rate simple of 1%.

Saleh said in an interview with Alsumaria’s News, said that “consultations are still ongoing between the Central Bank and the IMF about the offer emergency financial assistance to Iraq, called the financing means accelerated $ 800 million,” explaining that “the objective of the loan is the face of fluctuations in the Iraqi balance of payments impact of reduced oil prices. ”

Saleh added that “the loan will be available to Iraq at any time, and not the conditions will be repaid in three years and an interest rate approximate 1%,” noting that “Iraq could complete the loan of between 2-3 billion dollars, and reported within the 2015 budget.” .

Saleh continued, that “Iraq is a member of the IMF since 1945, and therefore of the objectives of the Fund is to international financial stability,” stressing that “the March fund his duties and his work after the countries shaken as a result of the fall in world oil prices.”

The Ministry of Finance announced in, (April 21, 2015) it had agreed with the International Monetary Fund to provide emergency financial assistance to Iraq after the technical meetings conducted by the parties, indicating that the goal is to reduce public expenditure.
