A judicial decision to seize funds and companies of a minister in Al-Kazemi’s government

Representative Mustafa Sanad announced, on Sunday, the issuance of a court order to seize the funds of former Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar.
Sanad said, in a statement received by Al-Maloumah, that “the judge of the second Karkh court, Diaa Jaafar, placed the seizure sign on all funds, companies, properties, and real estate of the former oil minister.” Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail.
He added that the seizure includes “his house in Basra, his brother’s house, and 14 apartments registered in the names of his relatives, in addition to distinguished real estate in Baghdad.”
Yesterday, Saturday, the representative of the Sadiqun Bloc, Zahra Al-Bajari, revealed national efforts led by the government to pursue the corrupt members of the Al-Kazemi government, by issuing arrest and recovery warrants for the ministers involved in the theft of public money, most notably the former oil minister.
