Banks United announced in Florida, on Thursday, that it closed the account of former President Donald Trump, to join a list of banks that recently ended their relationship with Trump.
“We no longer have any depository relationship with Donald Trump,” the bank said in a brief statement, without disclosing the reason for the move.
Trump had previously indicated in his financial statements that he had deposited more than $ 30 million in the concerned bank.
It is noteworthy that the “Professional Bank” in Florida announced last week the termination of its relationship with the former president and his organizations, and before that, “Signature Bank” and “Deutsche Bank” announced that they would not deal with Trump in the future.
The decisions of these financial bodies came after Trump supporters stormed the Capitol on January 6.
