Today, Wednesday, Abdul Rahman Al-Jazaery, a member of the State of Law Coalition, considered the US administration’s statements regarding the presence of its forces in Iraq as evidence of not leaving the country.

Al-Jazaery said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, “The issue of rejecting the American military presence has become a matter of preserving the dignity of the country and a duty for the citizens and the government together,” calling on “the House of Representatives to take all means to rid the country of these forces.”

He added that “the US administration sees its continued presence in Iraq as of utmost importance, despite the fact that its presence in the country is illegal and unhelpful,” noting that “Iraq needs to re-describe this presence and its violations.”

He explained that “the government is required to preserve the sovereignty of Iraq and the blood of its sons, and it must do its utmost to achieve the desires of the people and some political forces,” stressing the existence of “Iraqi parties that feel embarrassed by the American administration and want it to remain in the country.”

It is noteworthy that the current government has formed joint committees to work on expelling the Americans after the numerous violations committed by those forces on the country’s territory.
