Member of Parliament Thaer Makhif considered, on Monday, that Al-Kazemi’s description of his government and his companions as the government of Nuri al-Saeed is inaccurate, while he confirmed that Al-Kazemi’s government witnessed the largest corruption and theft deals.

Makhif said in a statement to Al-Maalouma Agency, “Al-Kadhimi’s government did not come up with anything new for him to compare himself to Nuri al-Said, and these movements come to draw attention to him in an attempt to return to the political arena through external support,” noting that the thefts of Al-Kadhimi’s government and his advisors are the largest in Iraq, and Nuri al-Said did not do this.”

He continued, “Al-Kadhimi’s description of himself as Nuri al-Saeed should be given to him by someone else if he really resembles al-Saeed, not by him calling himself that, disappointed,” noting that al-Saeed’s government did not leave Nuri Zuhair and some of al-Kadhimi’s advisors to enjoy deals worth billions of dollars, and their perpetrators are still outside the walls of Iraq.”

Mustafa Al-Kadhimi had written an article in Arab newspapers entitled “Iraq: The Butterfly Effect in State Administration,” describing himself as the closest to the personality of Nuri al-Said and comparing his government to that of Nuri al-Said, and accusing al-Sudani’s government and comparing it to that of Abdul Karim Qasim, which killed the monarchy.
