Today, Saturday, the head of the Al-Binaa Center for Studies, Muhammad Al-Yasiri, commented on the statements of US President Joe Biden’s nominee for the position of US Ambassador to Iraq, Tracy Ann Jacobson.
Al-Yasiri told Al-Maaloma Agency, “Jacobson’s statements represent a new challenge to the Iraqi government, criticizing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which “made little effort to deter this ambassador.”
He pointed out that “the American side does not respect Iraq’s sovereignty.”
Earlier, US President Joe Biden nominated Tracy Ann Jacobson as Ambassador Extraordinary and US Commissioner to Iraq, instead of Elena Romanowski.
