The Kurdistan region’s parliament will face a “serious crisis” next year as a result of its policy of “failed and corrupt oil”, warned the deputy chairman of the Finance Committee of the Parliament of Kurdistan province Ali Hama Saleh on Tuesday that a lawsuit will be filed against the Minister of Natural Resources Ashti Hawrami, Najirvan Barzani and his deputy, Qubad Talabani.

“According to available information and documents, the failed and corrupt oil policy will present the Kurdistan region next year 2018 to a serious crisis,” Saleh said in a post on his Facebook page, followed by Sky Press. “We will record the lawsuit not only against the Minister of Natural Resources Ashti Hawrami, But will also include the prime minister and his deputy. ”

Saleh added that “the problem of salaries with Baghdad, problems with Turkey, corporate loans, electricity problem and salary reduction are the result of the wrong oil policy.”

The leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Massoud Barzani announced on Monday, his support for a dialogue between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the central government in Baghdad, while the latter called for not to put “more impossible conditions.”
