Decided to cancel the ministerial positions for the following ministries: the Ministry of Human Rights, the Ministry of State for Women’s Affairs, Ministry of State for Provincial Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, Ministry of State.
BAGHDAD / Obelisk: decided to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Sunday, 4 cancel ministries and merge with each other eight, in addition to reducing the number of cabinet members to 22 members.
Ebadi’s press office said in a statement, that “based on the requirements of the public interest and based on Article 78 of the Constitution and the delegation of the House of Representatives, on behalf of the people we have decided to cancel the posts of Vice Prime Minister”.
He said the office “we have decided to reduce the number of people on behalf of the members of the Council of Ministers to be 22 members in addition to the Prime Minister rather than the 33 members”.
He said he “decided to cancel the ministerial positions for the following ministries: the Ministry of Human Rights, the Ministry of State for Women’s Affairs, Ministry of State for Provincial Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, Ministry of State.”
