Announced the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Barzani, today (Tuesday), at a joint press conference with Iraqi Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, a deal between Baghdad and Kurdistan to solve the problems of budget and export of oil.

Barzani pointed out that the Iraqi government, and also in accordance with the agreement, the amount will send a trillion and 200 billion Iraqi dinars to support the Kurdish peshmerga forces, as part of the Iraqi defense budget.
He stressed that the current agreement also ‘not final’, adding ‘there are other things we will talk about, but this is a good beginning to resolve the outstanding problems’.
He said ‘I’m happy to deal happening, it is a good achievement for both parties and means that we have come a good stage’. He pointed out that ‘Abadi desire to reach an agreement also encouraged’.
The Kurdish source had said, that the delegations of the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi government have reached a solution to the problem of the export of oil and the share of Kurdistan of Iraq’s state budget.
The source, who preferred anonymity, said the two sides reached an agreement on Monday evening following a meeting of all Iraqi Prime Minister participated in it, Haider al-Abadi, the prime minister of the Kurdistan region, Barzani.

The source added that the agreement also includes the contribution of the Government of Iraq part of the war waged by Kurdish peshmerga forces budget. And starts the application of the new agreement in the next year.
