On the constitutional article 140, Jubouri said, “We believe in the Constitution and all of its paragraphs, the Iraqi Council of Representatives will form a special committee for the application of Article 140.”
For his part, President of the Parliament of the Kurdistan region, “We welcome the initiative of the President of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and his visit to Arbil, which is important to us, we want to cooperate in order to address the problems between Erbil and Baghdad.”
“The attempt to impose a centralized system of government in Iraq is considered a factor in these problems between the two parties, and its continuation will lead to the outbreak of the problems of nationalism, so we are trying to find a solution to these problems through the relations between the two parties.”
He endorsed that “the delegation of the Iraqi parliament, consisting of all parliamentary blocs, stressed the need to solve the problems of the displaced and the salaries of the region and stressed the need to solve it.”
