8-6-2014 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG They are fairly close to naming a PM in Iraq. Sometime in the next couple of days we will see that. Maliki in as the PM for a 3rd term is a rumor and far from true for many reasons, one is it is not constitutional. Another rumor is that Jaafari is nominated as the NA candidate for PM…that one may be true. The 8th is Friday & if they are going to stick to any kind of constitutional framework on their deadline they have to have their PM named this week & I think they will probably get it done. They are on the doorstep of having a new PM and they should have a vote before Sunday.

8-6-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday [I thought they were going to approve the hcl and budget this week too?] THEY ARE STILL WORKING ON IT — THEY ARE WORKING TO PREPARE FOR THE WORLD TO COME INTO TRADE AND THURSDAY WILL BE THE NEXT DAY FOR THE BUDGET AND ALSO THE NAMING OF THE GOV.

THESE ARE HOT ITEMS AND THEY KNOW THEY ARE NEEDED ASAP AND HAVE PUT URGENCY ON THEM. THEY CAN’T BE FUNDED AND IMPLEMENTED UNTIL THEY GET THE RV BUT THEY CAN PASS THEM AND HOLD THEIR IMPLEMENTATION.

8-6-2014 Newshound Guru wmawhite There will be only 1 nomination and that will go to the floor of Parliament and will have come from the largest bloc and that 1 will be voted on. He then has 30 days to form his government. The Jaafari nomination was a surprise but considering he is the head of the NA and without him it would have been a slam dunk for Maliki. I am impressed that they are plowing ahead and they want to get this done.

8-5-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 TURKI AND THE BANK ARTICLES ALL SOUND LIKE HE IS MAKING PROVISIONS FOR THE RV AND GOING INTERNATIONAL AFTER COMPLETING THE ENROLLMENT TO FULL MEMBERSHIP TO THE WTO. WITH THE REPORTS AS THEY HAVE BEEN THIS WEEK…WE HAVE TO BE WITHIN ANYTIME IN THE NEXT COUPLE WEEKS. I THINK THE FULL MEMBERSHIP FROM WHERE THEY STATED TWO WEEKS AGO SAID MINIMUM 6 WEEKS FROM THE WTO ISSUING. THE MYSTERY IS WE DON’T KNOW HOW MUCH THAT THE CBI HAS FINISHED AT THIS TIME. WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR FURTHER REPORT AND UPDATES. MY BEST GUESS AT THIS TIME IS WE HAVE TWO TO AT LEAST 3 WEEKS LEFT TO WAIT BEFORE ALL IS COMPLETED AND ALL THE BUDGET, HCL, PM AND TIME PERIOD FOR WTO FOR FULL MEMBERSHIP ARE COMPLETED. HOWEVER I THINK ANYTHING GOES WHEN THE NEW PM IS VOTED ON AND PUT IN PLACE.

One of the main reasons this is huge, Iraq would not pass the budget or open it as long as Maliki held the title of Prime Minister. If that happened, he could get his hands on the money and a disaster would have been in the making. Perfect timing and very well planned out. Now the new PM can oversee the process and make sure the allocation of funds are distributed properly. Smile everyone, because if you are not smiling yet, you will be very shortly. Before it was History in the Making, but now it is History has been Made!!

8-5-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 [Jaafar al-Sadr is asking them to do this within the constitutional limits, thats interesting.] THEY HAVE TO FRIDAY TO STAY WITHIN CONSTITUTIONAL LIMITS SO THEY SHOULD ANNOUNCE ON THURSDAY OR FRIDAY AT THE LATEST.

Fact check, they actually have until the 10th of August, not the 8th to name the nomination for Prime Minister.

[What about jaafari is he good for PM?] he has a super large ego…he will not be pushed around…but, he is also inclusive. the PoR will receive only one nominee from the largest bloc to be voted on by parliament. …if in fact the NA is putting him up as their nominee they already know the Sunnis and Kurds are good with it. I believe the nominee will be voted on first by parliament…and each of the minister positions, IMO.

Fact check, an article out today says that Jaafari has been excluded for the PM position, we shall see very soon.

8-5-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar …an agreement was just reached between the SOL and the coalition. Maliki will leave Iraq and each block within the NA (National Alliance) will recommend a candidate for PM and then the NA will vote on all and the winner will be the one who gets the most votes. This seemingly puts the control firmly in the hands of the coalition as I am sure that they will block vote for Mahdi. There was no nominee brought forth today for the PM position from either the SOL or the NA opposition. Parliament held a meeting but the announcement of the PM position has been postponed until Thursday’s meeting at which time the NA will bring forth one nominee (not Maliki). If Maliki leaves Iraq as he has said he will do then at this meeting the Shia party will announce their nominee and Iraq will have peacefully had a transfer of power to the new non-sectarian government. This coming weekend is still looking good for our investment to finally come to a fruition.

8-5-2014 Newshound Guru Aggiedad77 Article: “Reform Movement: National Alliance will surprise people to choose their candidate during the next two days” NEXT TWO DAYS…the National Alliance is saying they will surprise people within the next TWO DAYS with a choice of their candidate for PM…I’ll be the most surprised at all I would think…committing to a hard line date…two days…is this something they are capable of doing…well mark your calendars for Thursday and watch what happens.
