US President Donald Trump asserted on Friday that Washington would keep Iran in a state of complete paralysis, as it is currently, adding, “We could finish the Iran thing very quickly; it’s a failed state.”
Trump added in a press statement: “All the oil we want goes through the Strait of Hormuz and Iran is under a naval blockade,” continuing: “We control the Strait of Hormuz and we can control all of Iran and they don’t have any money.”
Trump pointed out that “we can control all the oil in Iran, and the question is whether we want to resolve the matter or let it fade away?”, indicating that “Iran is heading towards collapse.”
Trump asserted on Thursday that Iran is doing everything it can to raise oil prices before the US midterm elections by fabricating fake attacks, even though the amount of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz now exceeds what it was even before the outbreak of the conflict, as he described it.
Trump added in a post on the Truth platform that “Iran continues to kill protesters and anyone who happens to be in its way. It is a truly evil regime, and I can only hope that the American people and the world realize how evil it is! 75,000 protesters have been killed in less than seven months. It is astonishing that the world and the Democratic Party do not care about this.”
