World Bank lends 355 million dollars to Iraq

BAGHDAD / translation Baghdadi News / .. Iraq signed with the World Bank signed an agreement on a loan of 355 million dollars to develop the dry canal project and finance the construction of the road network of domestic and international presence of the Minister of Finance Agency purity of net debt and the Minister of Construction and Housing Mohammad Darraji and World Bank representative Fred bin Haj and a group of Commission services and reconstruction in Iraq’s parliament, according to sentiments, Monday, site Ubi EU.
The finance minister said the agency purity of net debt, that “the loan will finance the dry canal project, waterways and international roads linking Iraq to the Middle East.”
He noted that “the project is part of a series of strategic projects that link Iraq with other countries to facilitate international trade.”
He added, net, that “the project will link the cities of Baghdad, Hilla, Nasiriyah, Rumaila and Safwan, Basra, Dohuk and port Ibrahim Khalil border.”
